Woodlands

My favourite times of the year for walking through the woods are Spring with bluebells in full bloom and Autumn with its vibrant colour.
The best times are early morning and evening with the low lying sun filtering though the leaves casting long shadows. In these paintings I try to capture these moments as quickly as possilble.
